How do you know if your spouse is cheating on you? One of the best means of getting an answer to the question is with the use of technology. We have access to personal computers, laptops, cell phones, hidden cameras, and yes, now the GPS systems! How can anyone think of cheating on their spouse, and getting away with it, in this age of technology?

Statistics show that since the increase in premarital sex over the past few decades, spouses, especially women, tend to cheat more freely than they would have 20 years ago. The days of marrying your high school sweetheart seem to be almost one for the history books.

To catch a cheating spouse, start with the obvious. Check numbers on the cell phone, calling ones that are unfamiliar to see who answers the call. Also, check the cell phone bill. Those numbers cannot be deleted. Check e-mails at home and at work.

If your spouse has a laptop, check not only inbox messages, but deleted and trash mailboxes. Almost every place has cameras for security. If you know the security personnel, you can view the tape to check if your spouses car was in the parking lot for a day in question.

Ah, the GPS system! Let’s save the best for last. Learn to check the GPS system often, at least daily. If you do not know how to check past destinations, learn how to do it. A spouse can hardly deny their location for the hours of “working late at the office”, if the GPS shows that they were indeed at a house in the next town! Your spouse will not be able to deny their location.

Once you have finished proving that your spouse is cheating on you, the real problems are just beginning. Many marriages do not survive the tide of infidelity. The issues of trust and broken wedding vows are hard to overcome. Divorce is many times the only solution. The fight to regain trust from a spouse that has cheated on you is almost impossible.

Ironically, most couples that divorce their spouse because of infidelity do not continue the relationship with the person with which they were having the affair. The marriage is over, the house divided, hearts broken, and all for the need to find what is missing, get a thrill, give into lust. All this, just to become another statistic of the cheating spouse.
